Madou und das Licht der Fantasie
Director
Softmachine Gmbh
Madou was a planetarium show (45 min.) I directed in 2003.
Being a traditional planetarium (located in Munich) the production involved producing and synchronizing footage for various sets of slides (some even 'animated' through motorized mirrors), a laser system, video sequences (3 motorised projectors), a halfway complex lighting system and some other gimmicks like fog, stroboscopes etc.
The feature is based on a radio show done by German pop star Nena (99 red balloons); my responsibilities included setting up the production and directing as well as concept art and storyboards, backgrounds and 2d animation (afx).
Madou - Web
The website for our Madou film.
The website was done in flash, all images and programming by me. Objects in the darkened room would glow when highlighted and animate to full size when clicked. Various background objkects where also aninated by rollover and some gimmicks as light on/off etc added.

Concept and 3d Artist
Brainmonster Studios
Game currently in production in Munich.
I was hired as a concept artist but occasionally helped out modeling and texturing some enviormental objects.
Emergency 2
3d Artist
Promotion Games / Take2
Some 3d models I did for a German computergame called Emergency 2, published by Take2. I'm not sure how successful the game was on an international scale, but it sold quite ok in Germany. The idea was something about terrorist attacks, plane crashes and whatever else taking place, you having to save the world.
r.i.c.k.
Concept Artist
Attaction Gmbh
A game i worked on, though it never got completed. The name was a homage to Rick Dangerous, a game i loved but could hardly play because we had a pc whilst all my friends owned an amiga. And i just couldn't understand why it wasn't possible to play the amiga games on our computer... had monkey island though, which of course was the better choice of education in the end..
Job: Conceptual art, 3d modeling, texturing and anything else.
